Fundamentals are the key driver in the long run.
Shorting or price manipulation, just a normal course of the stock market.
I also speculated Acadia takeover over past few years, but they didn't, it's good they didn't at earlier years, so it allows NEU share price go up much higher.
EVEN some very speculative bio stocks are valued at higher than NEU, like MSB (burning around $100m a year, no profit, still could go wild). For NEU, with well over $200m cash, plus receiving ongoing royalties, and additional phase 2 assets, it's no brainer to me.
Everyone has own opinions, always do your own research as no one will know what tomorrow will bring.
