From my conversations $35 AUD will not get a look in for board approval so would have to be hostile. $35 US might get over the line. IMO these values will be reached organically anyway if PMS phase 3 trial is positive in 2 years or so which as I've said before I believe is highly likely.
IMO the buyback is simply in response to the recent windfall and is a reasonable use of excess capital although like most medium - large holders I personally would have preferred a dividend. JP is clearly as frustrated as any of us at the price action over the last 6-10 months despite the positive milestones NEU has met as highlighted by hottod et al recently.
I am convinced JP and co know exactly what they have under the bonnet and it isn't $35 AUD/share. AIMO.
