I personally think management know a take over is coming and to better manage this, the buyback is going to offer a superior return for the shareholders as the limited amount of shares on issue is just wonderful. The value of this stock will rise considerably for each individual shareholder.
I’d expect the shorts to be removed from their bodies, ripped off and thrown. Short this little baby at your own peril. Management are, in my opinion, going to outclass these flogs. If a takeover occurs, watch WW3 biotech happen and watch NEU win the war on shorts.
