Mate it has been explained before but the buyback was never about pushing the price up despite what some on here believed. The idea of a buy back is to remove shares on issue and make the remainder of the company (on a per share basis) more valuable for remaining shareholders. Given what we have ahead of us the company being able to remove these shares at $12-$13 is fantastic because it means they have been able to buy and remove more.
