Look it's possible WAG, especially the bit about without BB, price = down, never said it couldn't be true. My point was that using a single data point and saying it was therefore correlated was a bit silly. I also highlighted in a previous post that NEU has followed the foibles in SP ups and downs of 3 other well known, high performing stocks and like I've said a number of times, just feels like standard market behaviour to me. I also previously linked an article in here (couldn't find it again sorry) highlighting that the likes of UBS are trading on EPS downgrade/upgrade and not on Buy/Sell which likely far better explains what's happening and why UBS (and others) may be a net seller despite a Buy recommendation vs manipulation.

Certainly on the numbers NEU is acting no different to others in the same boat - suggesting they are all manipulated (or they all aren't?). And if they all are, what's the point of filling the threads up with daily gnashing of teeth about it? Doesn't seem to change anything, probably gives the teeth gnashers an ulcer in the process. Well that's my view anyway. And if people think the ASX is manipulated and they can't stand that, maybe they need to find a different asset class to invest in (this is not directed at you either WAG, just a general comment on the topic and those that really struggle with the dark forces at work on the ASX).

Re analyst valuations. I see your point and I share the difference in belief on current valuation but imv analyst reports just aren't worth that much. If I actually got paid for my stocks what analysts say my stocks are worth I'd be holding the same amount of NEU as LittleT (I am exaggerating, a tad). I do like reading the thought processes they provide but beyond that.....
