A thought for sharing, might prove to be totally wrong, but here goes: 1. Buyback activity stopped on 18th. 2. Counting just trading days, 10 trading days starting with 18th, gets you to 6th January. 3. 6th January is the Monday of first full trading week, with holidays all out of the way. 4. 6th January would be a brilliant time to drop some excellent news into the market, to really reignite share price in a positive way. 5. Beginning of new year, has historically been a good time to release good news, rather than releasing it during holiday period, when there is less mearket impact. 6. We were told by Jon that endpoint discussion outcome would likely emerge around Christmas/Year End. 7. Not sure what latest short numbers look like, but trading in recent days has been subdued, which ok might just be down to holiday period, but I do wonder whether the shorts are nervous of a start of new year announcement.
Anyway, probably just another SWAG, but then again maybe not.
Fingers crossed for a 'Merry ho ho ho!' announcement on the 6th!
