Makes sense. ChatGPT told me that 254Y states that the shares must be cancelled within 28 days of the shares being purchased. When I actually read 254Y, it doesn't say that at all. It states they must inform ASIC within 28 days of the shares being cancelled, and it's nothing to do with how long the company has to cancel them in the first place after buying them back. The issue with ChatGPT (and similar) is they give answers which sound correct and can provide real sources but they fail to actually interpret the content correctly.
