NEU has bought back 1.288 million shares so far, at today's price, it can buy back further 3 million shares.
The interesting part is Biogen share price continue to hold up well over last few days despite US market being pushed down significantly.
NEU has been trading like a speculative stock, it's crazy, imo, market cap $1.44B with net cash around $350m, and annual income of ~$80m (~$65m royalties and ~$15m interest income), with royalties income to increase further as European market to launch next year, excluding potentially milestone payments up to US$713m.
Sometimes, the market is just throwing baby out of the bath water, imo.
