It appears to me that we're witnessing a deliberate manipulation of market dynamics. As a keen observer and consistent buyer of Neuren stock, alongside the buyback efforts, I've noticed a peculiar pattern.
The market depth seems to be behaving contrarian to conventional wisdom. On days where the buy-side demand outstrips sell-side supply, the price inexplicably drops. Conversely, when sellers outnumber buyers, the price rises. This anomaly warrants scrutiny... maybe its just me noticing this?
If, as I suspect, this is a takeover tactic, the perpetrators may be underestimating shareholder savvy of this extraordinary company. (of which I have held to for 20 years, and never once flinching!) Offering a price near the recent average trading value might not be as enticing as they assume. In fact, it could backfire spectacularly. However, it's possible that the architects of this strategy are more cunning than I give them credit for.
Time will tell if this is indeed a clever ploy or a miscalculation. One thing is certain, though: the market's reaction will be fascinating to watch and many will celebrate the buying opportunity we have now. Of course I feel how it can be nerve-racking for many that can't buy more for various reasons right now.
