I don't necessarily have the answer but it could involve
- NEU is relatively thinly traded so it actually doesn't require a particularly great amount of selling pressure to go down
- many brokers/traders now trade on EPS revisions. I haven't checked recently but last time I did check brokers had been in a trend of revising down Acadia EPS forecast. NEU has also had it's own SP targets steadily revised down.
- with a long time till 2591 revenue there could be many that can see their money working for them better elsewhere (in the meantime) and so are selling
- concern on Daybue growth slowing/plateauing
- concern over Jan-Mar qtr Daybue sales being weak (as they were 12 months ago)
- clearly some would have concerns over FDA (particularly now with uncertainty around RFK Jr and his impact)
- Some will get scared into selling as the share price keeps falling and some will want to protect capital, some will have stop losses hit and some will have margin calls.
I agree with all your positives, I personally think we are undervalued and have been buying, but I can also lot's of reasons why someone might be selling.
