The SBB had ramped up a lot prior to the blackout period because volumes were up as the short interest increased into tarrif induced capitulation event. Now that the volumes are normalising the amount of shares the company are likely to purchase per day should moderate as things stablise a bit (touch wood). I think it would be prudent to assess where they are after they have spent $40m~ targeting to purchase a maximum of $500k~ worth of shares a day (which will fluxuate a bit)
