Agree. If your shorts were at $15 then if reaching $9 wasn't good enough to lock in profits, then what level are they waiting for? $5, $2? To me this aligns with the view that the shorting isn't actually about making money from shorts. Which is where I've been leaning for a long time (happy to be called a conspiracy theorist).
Trying to look at Neuren objectively and where its current share price is vs average analyst price target - you'd think it would be one of the last stocks on the ASX to be viewed as a good target for shorting.
