I don't think the company will do that unless a deal or transaction occurs where it makes sense to use the franking credits. Ie we're paid X per share and the balance of the cash is paid as a dividend as a Y per share (franked) payment for a total value of Z. That way the payment attracts a slightly lower tax liability for Australian shareholders.
The other possibility is 2+ years from now when we have a commercialised NNZ-2591 asset and have the cashflows to support that. I think the SBB has done its job (excess cash buying shares at a discount).
