Not too sure, but someone on the WHC HC thread pointed out that they may not be purchasing every day.
"New Hope Corporation Limited will only buy back shares at such time and in such circumstances as are considered beneficial to its efficient capital management."
So, whilst $300m may have been set aside for the buyback, it may not ultimately be fulfilled.
