The latest buyback notice shows that 1,563,925 shares have been bought back. These will have been cancelled.
On September 15th ,2022 the Company advised ( see page 104 of the Annual Report) that it had 832,357,082 fully paid ordinary shares on issue.
today after the buy back there are 879, 130, 491 fully paid ordinary shares on issue.
This means after taking into account the buy backs , since 15th Sept 2022 the company has issued to holders of convertible notes , who have exercised their conversion rights , 48,337,332 fully paid shares !
That is a benefit of about $265,855,326 .
My question to NHC HotCoppers is did you as a shareholder get any of these Notes?
My guess is No. Only a select few , hidden away in Singapore , are the beneficiaries.
