What a bunch of idiots at the helm.
Do they not run the numbers internally before releasing to the market? If they knew the figures would crash the SP, surely it would be better to continue the buyback??
Or were they doing a buyback with no regard for the financial health of the companies? Knowing what the balance is, what the cashflow is, ought to be completely separate from where the market places the SP.
Now that the SP is low, with the cash they ought to have just a few weeks ago, is it now not a better time to continue to buy??? WTF.... and they get paid for this?
