cons - the forecast population decrease is a concern

pros - the Chinese govt have great opportunity to influence the course of events. Perhaps moreso than most governments. One specific possibility is that legislation to make a freer market could occur.

china and other emerging markets have not had the run other markets have had. Maybe that makes pai an opportunity for capital growth.

Any idea how closely PAI & the Platinum Asia Fund holdings might be?

Just opened Platinum's Qtrly Asset management Report & they mention 3 semi-conductor stocks - they certainly don't appear to be all travelling in the same direction during January!?

Of course, once Chinese NY is well behind us, a different story might unfold?
