Big difference between the two. QAN is a publicly listed ASX company, with attendant responsibilities and only exists due to the taxpayer (you and I) stumping up about $2Bn to keep the company from bankruptcy. QAN gratitude, another round of executive excessive renumeration and bonuses, but out the door for many front line staff. Recent media report that the QAN CEO's aggregate remuneration in all forms since appointment in 2008, will be in excess of $150m with more bonuses likely.
