SLR along with RMS and RED, are being underpriced by the market and the GDX. What would a grand alliance of these 3 look like - one of Australia's all time cash generators ??? Obviously issues of relative merit and who'll lead and constitute the BOD will be a real unedifying dog fight, but for SH's the creation of a world scale mining group to rival NST for institutional backing would be a big win.
Cutting overheads and acquiring uber strong credit rating, and the ability to attract the best contractors and workers looking for long careers should be attractive. Also, the opportunity to diversify into battery metals etc, especially copper would broadened the company base .... IMHO.
This bear market will extinguish many a "good prospect" and leave the cashed up, long life operators to pick clean the bones of dead pretenders.
