Must admit, I am not a fan of buy backs. I would much rather receive a dividend or cash bonus so that I can decide where to put the money. Time after time, over many different companies, buy backs do little to improve the SP, even if they can put a floor on it for a little while. SLR is a case in point. All the money spent on buy backs last year has been thrown away with the downwards thrust in the SP since this announcement in February.
