I'm glad they're being responsible on the buyback but I'm less confident on the timeframe for dividends. Maybe they'll splurge on other media interests before we see any of the cash.
When it comes to media companies there's more to consider than the P&L. Channel 10 was run into the ground as the plaything of billionaires before being snatched from under their noses. Minority shareholders were among the biggest losers.
