I hold BKW & SOL as well & included a smaller portion of each as a quasi REIT, sounds like our approach is very similar

I’ve previously held TOT & would pull the trigger if it got in the mid 40s or office sentiment really turns but am held back by my existing exposure through TGP
I see REITS similar to LICs in they can offer opportunity when sentiment can amplify movements in the underlying assets, BKW & SOL can almost be put into this basket too though neither look terribly cheap, I’m currently about 35%+ LICs
Other than about 10% held in more speculative growth my portfolio is pretty conservative & higher yielding
