Europes ban on Russian coal is only coming into effect in August. We have not seen anything yet, once the market sees the commodity prices stabilize it will revalue the SP. Oil will drive this upward with oil prices headed towards $150 per barrel off the back of constrained supply and under investment into the industry. It has been a self fulfilling prophecy by the woke crowd signaling the end of fossil fuels but not the end for all the luxuries they provide. Without Oil we go back to the basic life of the early 1800s.. get ready for a whole lot of pain, people are clueless about what they have created with their passive armchair economic warrior mentality.
Demand destruction will be minimal because it can only be cut to a certain point without undermining the entire social and economic structure that our economy is built on, indded the whole world economy is built on it.
