I appreciate your rebuttal.
But I am not looking at a conspiracy that the BOD are acting in self interest as the motivation. There is a stewardship contract between the BOD and the shareholders. The vote last week, which included vast wealth shareholders and not just mums and dads. The results were compelling that the smart money wants the BB. Its not a sin that the BOD may also profit from from a BB.
My final point. If you honestly believe that you know of a far better Rate of Return that WHC could pursue other than investing in itself at the lowest ASX EV for a $9B company then I challenge you to table it.
Ok you may have invested for a dividend stream. The wonderful thing is you are getting a tremendous Div stream and the company is being setup that you continue to receive wonderful divs today and wonderful divs in the future even when the Coal price reverts back to a New Normal Price.
