Yes, agree as to sh (predominantly institutional and major fundies holders) approval for the bb, ie the one currently under considerable posts on this thread, from October 2022.
That in itself does not release the Board from any responsibility for the execution of the bb, the final outcome and the impact on the company stability. The Board is responsible for the strategic framework for the business and its performance, as well as dividend policy. The notion that the Board can set and forget is not an acceptable option.
