Comparing to BRK and SOL is ridiculous. They’re hoarders of cash. With that cash they buy stakes in businesses close to the bottom. Whitehaven is not a hoarder of cash. They sold 30% of Blackwater just in time for the amount they received. If you can’t see that you are blind as a bat.
Where would WHC be today if they could not get a buyer at the price they did. Still, they have significant cash outflows which was supposed to be funded from B &D operations. At current prices it’s impossible.
They assed it. Sometimes you’re lucky sometimes you’re not. WHC has been blessed. Just think objectively if you can.
