Dan I agree it makes no rational sense. however the share market and BRK esp is not rational. if I had sat at 0.015 and kept buying the signal I could see was BRK was not with me. and I'd now be looking at a value of 0.012. more loses on losses. a major part of my wealth is here and I'm not young. I look at my account regularly and I compare myself to a professional manager / super fund. there is no hiding with i am a long term investor etc.
in my eyes the buy back has been woefully managed. and looking at DP doing the same thing as last year, meanwhile working on his side hustles. it's just had me loose faith. hence I'm slowly selling down.
