I'd love to be able to put a figure on it but I dare say BlackRock is largely behind this dumping. I suspect they've rebalanced MLX out of their metals ETF. That would mean that at the start of the month they had ~30m shares to offload. Until this is completed and details of the life of mine plan come, the smart money doesn't have any incentive to keep the price up. I've been consistently dollar cost averaging into this and happy to do so.
