it still stuns me that after everything that has happened, people try to say the Glaucus report was anything but accurate.
They laid bare the total dependence of the company on cap raises and plantation sales to keep the lights on; they pointed out the chinese customer was a fake; that the pricing claimed by QIN was unattainable in the size they claimed; that tree yields and survival were inconsistent with their valuation in the books and MIS schemes; that related parties were the sources of their demand and pricing assumptions; that by buying up the harvests they prevented proper price discovery and they valued QIN at zero - a highly accurate valuation by the looks of it.
If you'd listened to them, you'd have made or saved yourself a fortune - instead you buried your head in the sand and questioned their motives. Their motives are irrelevant if they are right.
