Would be nice to get a mining engineers view point on the dilution skin thickness , also comes into the picture is probably how vertical the ore body is , but even if flat 0.5m seems pretty wide , and goes to show how important it is to have a skilled excavator driver and to keep over break to a minimum , Also be interesting to know if they could reduce blasting needed by doing dozer ripping
