This morning I passed by the vegetable patch. There stood a lone white March Hare. He wore a scuffed and soiled top hat and his waistcoat had poorly disguised patches. His fob watch was broken yet he frequently referred to it whilst leaning on his cane. I asked how he fared and why he stood in the weather. He told me he was waiting to catch the Purcell train to Shangri La but had been waiting over a year. He asked if I knew of the train. I agreed I did but it had been long delayed by a Zapato and then as I expected it was further delayed by Cuba’s poor infrastructure and the fare price was dropping . He asked if it would ever come and I said maybe not as “times they are a changin”. He sighed and said he was so hoping for a decent supper.
