Exactly, it's a case of an asset being taken from Australian investors by the DRC and Chinese govts. If this were a strategic Australian owned asset such moves to confiscate legally owned licensed tenements after 10s of millions were spent to prove up resource it would be an act that may lead to a military response. But as its private Australian capital its effectively being stolen by foreign governments before our eyes and on an international stage in slow motion. I didn't think was a possibility but now I know business deals and honest partnerships in foreign countries offers zero investment safety, many will no doubt change there investment strategies and I believe China will be the only one left standing in Africa and with only one potential business partner DRC will be forced to take any deal they can. Is this really the "risk" they were talking about? Not what I studied.
