Long term holder here. I read the ASX listing rules on continuous disclosure and yep, WOA breached those rules. They should not have mentioned the ‘secret’ deal if they were unable to disclose who the deal was with.
The announcement was made by the new CEO (he only had held the position for a few months) when he had released it. The announcement was approved by the Board. I hope Management have learned from this mistake and are more careful about making gung ho announcements to the stock market in the future.
