Not smashed at all. $1B isn't even a half year dividend. I have a bunch of accounts with Westpac and no plans to shift. Pointing out what happens inside Risk and Exec Management within banks is just referring to what I've seen happen. There are many thousands of people who would have had that exposure, but yes I think I have a good handle (from other banks, not Westpac).
And I'm just saying what I think will/should happen, I obviously have zero influence on what will happen. Pointing out that a handful of posters are in la la land by giving my perspective isn't down ramping.
