A patent reservation is underway to protect the intellectual property of thisnovel process route which re‐purposes existing technology and is expected toreplace the high capital cost and energy‐intensive processroute most commonlyused to produce a mixed rare earth carbonate and as a result is expected tolower the overall capital and operating costs for this part of the project.
