the issue with OD is its deep and complex. You really need to do a massive open pit for scale, but god knows how many $10s of billions it’ll cost. No doubts the plan post OD West JORC comes out will be revealed to market. They’ve said they are at least looking at 500ktpa in South Australia, maybe that grows significantly more without an Anglo future?
My bet, which they won’t talk about yet, is trump wins the election and gets Resolution approved again like he did before. that’ll consume a significant amount of capex budget, high grade but deep. JV with RIO as operator.
