I agree - the wording can still be read through in a number of ways.

"The Company can confirm that it is continuing to progress the financing discussion with a preferred
investor and now expects to be in a position to make an announcement on the details of the financing
arrangement inside of October 2022. "

In my interpretation, an investor is equity, financing is debt

I would actually prefer this was a debt arrangement to prevent dilution, we have cashflow available to support debt - particularly while the share price has become so depressed.... any equity issue would be highly dilutive.
