I remember during the ODAC meeting that Mesoblast is already prepared to do another round of trial should there is a need.

I think the core issue as per the announcement is how it should be done or how the trial should look like.

This is a difficult one because the subject of the trial are on the brink of death and in a lot of pain. By undergoing the trial, there is a 50-50 chance the patient will get placebo (of they decided to use placebo) and would result to unnecessary death. It is like playing russian roulette.
