Now if I was a synical person I may think the SP is being manipulated. There were millions on the buy side just below what was being asked, which would make people think that there was a demand so they took them at the higher price and the sellers then thought they could get more and it pushed up the SP. Then bang they off load their shares and cancel all the buys and just like that they leave the average guy in the red.
