The use of the word "pumped" means to me that the share price was deliberately manipulated to increase the price so as to sell a large holding.
While it can't be proven, I didn't see any indication of anything out of the ordinary with the share price action leading up to and after the announcement.
That's my opinion and you are entitled to yours.
