Would have thought BFC's major input cost increases might rate a mention. There's significant upward pressure on milk solids pricing (BGA is paying Bega Valley farmers $9/kg an increase of $1.40 ftom this time last year. VIC & SA farmers will be getting $8.60).
I recall there was an agreement between BFC and the new owner of its former dairy farm assets for milk supply but unsure whether that included fixed price and term guarantees.
No doubt we'll hear more on this ready made excuse for not meeting targets.
