Cash is an issue now mate, let alone the future. If it wasn't, there wouldn't have been any need for the CR.
Renard is years away from generating cash. And if we're to believe CE's claim that the price we paid for the extension is what we would have paid anyway for C&M, then that means Renard costs ~A$19m per year just to sustain. So assuming everything proceeds in line with their proper timeline, there's >A$65m in C&M costs between now and cash generation from spod production. That carbon sequestration strategy better make some money....
