The voting on this article is primarily downvotes by the readers, probably because the English speaking Thais and expats reading Bangkok Post are extremely cynical about the government and businesses in Thailand. They would assume and previous pollution news/protesting was true, and the license is being unsuspended because the government have received their bribes.
Even the street food vendors across the country dump oil and rubbish down the drains, so how could they expect big businesses to be any better?
