Their new strategy to launch within the next 9 1/2 months (ie by June 2025) is -
licensing to alternative pathology laboratories and service providers, and direct to consumer/patient (DTC/DTP) (PIQ June Quarterly; [ASX: 30 July]).
Does this mean we now have to recruit a sales team to tackle the path labs (or even chains thereof)? Also, what's the point if - like in Aust - the doctor has to request the test?
And direct to the patient? What sort of long, massive & ongoing campaign required to penetrate THAT section of the market??
I intend to phone the co (Richard) Friday (day off tomorrow)for an explanation unless someone, in the meantime, can explain why this 2 prong approach makes sense. ALSO, I realise it may have been the case that it was hoped SHC, though underperforming would lift their game, but has it really taken this long to conclude they were deficient?
