On the 16th of May the company stated the following............

"Commissioning activity is currently focused on copper production only, incorporating the jigs (coarse native copper), gravity (fine native copper) and flotation (sulphide copper) circuits, with ore feed planned at the latest Monday 30th May. Whilst this is four weeks after our target date, it will result in being behind in only two weeks of planned production due to changes in ramp-up rates. First shipment of product is still expected prior to the end of June."

Has ore-feed occurred or not with-in the terms that they meant by that statement?

I stated, with no mining background, that NO it wouldn't be operating. I was told be 'mining experts' that I was wrong.
Here is the essence of the announcement yesterday....
"CuDeco Limited’s Rocklands Group Copper Project continues to build momentum, with the Company announcing today the start of ore feed commissioning at the flagship Cloncurry plant in north-west Queensland."

The first statement did not state ore feed commissioning at all, it stated ore feed, which to the lay person means they have commissioned it and it is now starting to operate.

It is very, very typical of CDU announcements that they say one thing will be happening by a certain date, but then change the announcement ever so slightly to make it look like they are on schedule when they are not.

So SB, you seem to be a mining expert, can you answer my first question with a time, and not a depends, please?

How long is a piece of string?

Ore feed into the mill? .......Is it continuous feed or did they feed a couple of hundred tonne into the Ball Mill?

As shadow has stated...if you feed ore into the Plant it has to come out somewhere, you do not want to loose product to tailings....if things don't work properly you turn off the feed.

Trickle feed at the start, slowly increasing the feed to reach full production targets when everyone is happy.

So, the answer to your question is soon, in the near future, it is imminent etc IF all goes well
