More than happy to be schooled on this,if this is a stupid question. But I've watched gold mining shows in Alaska,where with the basics,loader, excavator,mobile sluice and diesel generators,they are mining and producing gold and a few million a year. Half of these,the equipment is dragged up a mountainside,the water comes from a creek etc and any supplies could be a two day trip or longer...so if full production at Kat Gap was meant to be in 2021,or maybe even prior to that,X amount of their permits must've been in place to mine to make that full production statement, if they're not just milking the shareholders,why has nothing ever been produced?
