Actually if you read my posts on the country risk issue, I've praised the President of Mali as an educated statesman and unifier, a good influence in Africa. I've stated that the troubles Mali are very different to other parts of Africa, like the DRC, and are containable with the help of the French who in recent years have been willing to get stuck in both in Mali and Côte d'Ivoire. As mentioned I'm also comfortable holding shares in Mali through another larger mining company.

I'm just interested in the story, no agenda. I'm an investor like everybody else. I almost bought some shares during the Chinese offer times at 33.5cents but baulked.

Given you've been in it so long can you explain the transport options? Are there viable roads and a port and how far is it to the port. Bulk commodities are more of a challenge than gold when it comes to understanding impacts in feasibility studies. There are just a few more assumptions that come into play. Esh
