If you press the "esc" key a few times while the page is loading, it won't load the js which causes the paywall redirect. It won't load some graphics but you'll get the text at least.

As for the article, bit of a puff piece IMO. They posted the image below... Considering they don't make mention of the 5:1 consolidation, it's a little misleading to say the least!!
