I'm very surprised by today's pump. This is not a good update IMO, it's more of the same old cost cutting that I believe lead to souring customer relationships, no plans on turning around the ship is mentioned. Cost cutting is just a temporary relief, the underlying turmoil at the company has not been addressed. Maybe Mr Market thinks additional room for cost cutting means no CR coming up in the near future, and shorters are buying today. If I held this stock I do not want to see further cost cuts and offices shutting down, I want to see a detailed strategy by the new CEO, which will lead to a huge CR but that's whats needed.

I agree with everything you’ve said except for one thing.

Shorters have been borrowing and selling, not buying, today and will profit in the days/weeks ahead.
