I'm not sure if you can do this whilst BPG are still a listed company, but try:

I've "sold" one of my other (delisted) dog stocks here, which Im not too proud to admit. You actually have to pay them ($150) for their services to take your shares from you and give you receipts for a tax write-off.

Otherwise, try calling the registry, Link Market Services, on 1300 554 474, they may be able to put you're shares up for sale for an off market transfer, if they can get a buyer is a separate issue. BTW, You can't do this yourself through the Link Market Services website, I've tried!!!

I hear you mate, I could do with the tax write off myself, but don't care too much which financial year I realise this loss.
